Medical Portals Limited is VAT registered in the UK with VAT Number GB 170 5096 18.

You agree that any materials posted by you or otherwise submitted to the site, whether ideas, creative concepts or other materials, may be used and disclosed by us without restriction for whatever purpose we deem fit and without payment of any sum or acknowledgement of you as their source. We shall have no liability for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of use or disclosure of such materials by us.

This (clause 7) does not affect any rights you may have under data protection or similar laws, to the extent that such rights cannot be excluded. In this connection please see our privacy statement, below.

8. Delivery policy

You agree that you will be treated at our contracted clinics during the course of your treatment.

9. Medical liability

This website is setup as a gateway for you (the “patient”) to access Fibromyalgia treatments made available via our contracted clinics. Medical Portals is responsible for providing administration services related to patient management throughout the course of your treatment at our contracted clinics. However, all medical liability during assessment, diagnosis and treatment of your Fibromyalgia is the responsibility of the clinic where you are receiving consultation or treatment. You hereby exclude Medical Portals Limited to the fullest extent permitted by law of all liability for any loss or damage you may incur due to medical consultation or treatment you receive at our contracted clinic as a result of booking an appointment via this website.

You also acknowledge that you may be given separate terms and conditions and consent forms to sign and approve from our contracted clinic prior to your consultation or treatment with that clinic.

10. Refund and cancellation policy

You agree to make a full payment to Medical Portals Limited for your treatment, at the time of booking your appointment.

If you wish to cancel your appointment at a later date, you may do so by calling our administration team on 0207 118 0350, at least one working day before your appointment date. In this case, a full refund payment will be made to your credit card within 7 working days.

You agree that failure to turn up on a booked appointment, or cancelling it less than one working day before the due appointment date, will incur a charge of £50. In this case, you hereby grant Medical Portals Limited the right to retain this amount of £50 from the payment you have previously made for your treatment. The remaining fee will be refunded to your credit card within 7 working days.

11. Privacy policy

When you engage in certain activities on this website, such as downloading files or registering your interest in an event or product or service, Medical Portals may ask you to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form, or by other means. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities. When you submit personal information to Medical Portals, you understand and agree that Medical Portals and its associates may transfer, store and process your customer profile in any of the countries in which Medical Portals and its associates and agents maintain offices, including without limitation, the United Kingdom. Medical Portals collects this information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select.

We may also use information that you provide as part of our effort to keep you informed about special offers, and other Medical Portals products and services. Medical Portals recognises and appreciates the importance of responsible use of this information. If you do not want the information you provide to be used to inform you of other products and special offers, and you indicate this preference when you provide the information to us, we will honour your preference.

You acknowledge and agree that to provide administration services related to patient management throughout the course of your treatment, Medical Portals will need to store and share your health records with our contracted clinics. Medical Portals Limited is committed to managing your health records in compliance with The Data Protection Act 1998. You hereby agree and grant Medical Portals the right to store and share your health records with our contracted clinics. You also agree that Medical Portals Limited will not be liable for any claims resulting from its management of your health records.

When you make payments to Medical Portals Limited, we do not store our customer’s financial details.

12. Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions and any matter relating to this site shall be governed by the law of England and Wales and the Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any controversy or claim of whatever nature arising out of or relating these terms and conditions.
